Balzac's Coffee Roasters began as a dream in a small garage in Sunnyside, Manitoba. Our founder, Jacques Balzac, a third-generation coffee roaster from France, believed that Canadians deserved access to exceptional, ethically sourced coffee.

What started as a passion project quickly grew into a community staple. Jacques' commitment to quality and his innovative roasting techniques soon caught the attention of coffee enthusiasts across the province.

Today, while we've grown beyond that humble garage, we've never lost sight of our roots. Every batch of coffee we roast carries the same dedication to quality, sustainability, and community that Jacques instilled in our company from day one.
